Doctor of Physiotherapy (DPT)
Bryce was born and raised in Vancouver, B.C. After obtaining his B.A. at the University of Victoria, he moved to Australia to complete his Doctor of Physiotherapy (DPT) at Bond University, in Queensland.
Following graduation he worked in a variety of settings, including hospitals, long term care residences, sports performance clinics, occupational rehabilitation programs and general private practice. His passion for preventative medicine and rehabilitation eventually led him to Clinical Pilates.
Bryce attended the Pacific Northwest Pilates Studio and undertook training in the Stott Pilates Rehabilitation method. Bryce often enjoys combining the benefits of the Clinical Pilates approach with his love for strength and conditioning. He currently also works for Vancouver Coastal Health as a musculoskeletal injury prevention advisor.
Outside of work Bryce is a musician with over 10 years of playing the drums (poorly). He also has a keen interest in pain science, cycling, and strength and conditioning. Bryce will likely mention that the squat is his favorite exercise at some point in his day.
